Salad with tuna and kale from the maledives

  • 1 union, shredded
  • 1 chili, without seeds, in rings
  • 1 garlic glove, finely chopped
  • 1/2 coconut, grated
  • 1 lime
  • 1 tin of tuna (Fish Tales), leaked out
  • 12 leaves of kale, chopped finely
  • salt and pepper

How to prepare


Ready in a few minutes: a tasty and healthy salad with tuna, coconut and kale! Bart made this dish together with the great chef of Coffee Buzz on the Maldives. The spicy chili, sweetness of the grated coconut and the fresh kale goes perfectly together. Super as a snack, on toast or on your sandwich. Enjoy!


  • 1 Put the chopped onion, red pepper, finely chopped garlic into a bowl and knead and mix well.
  • 2 Now add the coconut.
  • 3 Squeeze a whole lime over the salad.
  • 4 Add the tuna to the salad and mix the ingredients in the bowl by kneading everything with clean hands or plastic gloves.
  • 5 Add the kale at the very last moment to the salad and mix well.
  • 6 Season with salt and pepper.
