1 Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a frying pan and fry the onion and garlic on medium high heat. Add the dried chilli flakes and fry for 3 minutes.
2 Blend the peeled tomatoes with a blender and add this to the frying pan. Bring to a boil and simmer for 7-8 minutes.
3 While the sauce is simmering, prepare the pasta in a big pot with salted boiling water according to the packet instructions.
4 Add 1 tablespoon of red wine vinegar and the drained tuna to the sauce and mix well. Season the sauce with salt and fresh basil.
5 Add the cooked pasta to the sauce. Give it a toss and mix well.
6 Serve the pasta with extra basil leaves end enjoy your tuna pasta!
