Shrimp cocktail with whiskey sauce, avocado and samphire

Ingredients
few leaves of iceberg lettuce
1 avocado, chopped in cubes
100 g brown shrimp, peeled
25 g samphire
2 tsp smoked paprika powder
grate and juice of 1 lemon
To make the cocktail sauce:
2 tbsp cream
2 tbsp mayonnaise
½ tbsp tomato ketchup
½ tbsp whisky (optional)
1 tsp worcestershire sauce
1 tsp tabasco
salt and pepper
How to prepare
In this recipe cocktail does not mean a mix drink with liquor, but a classic shrimp cocktail with homemade whiskey sauce. The samphire and delicious MSC-certified brown shrimps make this golden oldie hip and happening all over again.
Preparation
1 Whisk the cream for the cocktail sauce. Add the rest of the sauce ingredients, season with salt and pepper, and set aside.
2 Arrange the iceberg lettuce leaves in two small bowls and spread the avocado over. Mix the shrimp with the cocktail sauce and put the mixture onto the avocado.
3 Garnish with samphire, sprinkle with paprika powder and serve with a part of lemon.
