Tartine with smoked sockeye salmon
Tartines are open-faced French sandwiches, topped as beautifully as possible. This tartine, featuring Fish Tales sockeye salmon, is made even more delicious with the combination of fresh dill and crème fraîche, red onion, and capers.

Cut the crusts off the bread and slice diagonally. Toast the bread slices until golden brown on both sides.
Wash the lemon, zest and juice one half. Slice the red onion into rings and finely chop the dill.
Spread a generous layer of crème fraîche on the bread and top with the salmon slices.
Garnish with capers, red onion, dill, black pepper, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Finally, add the salmon roe on top.
