Smos salmon on toasted bread
Smos salmon is a Flemish twist on a classic salmon salad sandwich. Smos means “mess around” in Flemish—this recipe is all about mixing freely, so don’t worry about exact quantities. Enjoy experimenting!

Place mustard in a bowl and season with salt and pepper to taste.
Add the grated carrot, radishes, and capers to the mustard and mix well. Stir in about two-thirds of the dill.
Spread the mixture (“smos”) on the toasted bread or bagel. Top with smoked salmon and garnish with the remaining dill.
