
Greek salad with sardines
Transport yourself to Greece for a moment with one bite of this classic, delicious salad with sardines. Quick & easy to prepare.
Remove the seeds from the cucumber and cut into cubes. Cut the tomatoes into wedges, the bell pepper into thin strips, and the onion into thin rings. Mix the vegetables in a large bowl.
Add the whole olives, lemon juice, red wine vinegar, olive oil, dried oregano, salt and pepper, and mix with the vegetables.
Cut the feta into cubes and add.
Open the can of sardines and add a few drops of oil from the can to the salad. Carefully remove the sardines from the can and cut into coarse pieces. Finely chop the mint and add it along with the sardines to the rest.
Gently toss everything together. Garnish with a pinch of dried oregano.
