Sardine and Artichoke Quiche
Sardines are not only delicious but also packed with omega-3 fatty acids, which are good for your heart and brain. This quiche combines delicious sardines with the creamy taste of artichoke. 25 min preparation time + 35 min oven time
Preheat the oven to 200 °C.
Grease a 20 cm diameter pie tin with butter and line it with the puff pastry. Gently press the dough into the tin. Place a sheet of baking paper on top, fill the dish with baking beans or dried beans, and bake the dough for 10 minutes. Remove the baking weights and bake the pie crust for another 5 minutes. Take it out of the oven and reduce the temperature to 180 °C.
In a bowl, mix the eggs with the cream, spring onion, and dill. Season with salt and pepper. Pour the mixture into the pie tin and lay the artichoke and sardines on top. Bake the quiche for 30-35 minutes in the oven until the surface is beautifully golden brown.
Mix the lettuce with the chervil and dress with olive oil and a pinch of salt. Serve the quiche with the salad.
