Responsible fish, together with Jamie Oliver
You read that right: we're teaming up with Jamie Oliver! United by a shared passion for good food, healthier oceans and responsible fishing, we're working together on one mission: inspiring more people to make conscious choices when it comes to fish. Through stories from fisheries, fishermen and delicious recipes, Bart and Jamie take you behind the scenes of the fish on your plate. Read on!

At Fish Tales, we've said it since day one: good fish starts at sea. That's why we've spent years working with fishermen who respect the ocean and are transparent about their catch. We show where our fish comes from, who catches it and exactly how it's caught. Making it easier for everyone to choose fish more consciously.
Jamie Oliver has been doing something similar in his own way for years: inspiring people to eat more mindfully and understand where their food comes from. By joining forces, we can reach even more people. Because if we want future generations to enjoy the finest fish too, we simply need to look after our oceans better.

Over the coming years, Jamie and Bart will share the stories behind sustainable fisheries. And it all starts now with the launch of our brand-new online series: The Seafood Revolution.
In the series, Jamie and Bart travel along the English coast, cook together and dive into the world behind sustainably caught fish. Expect personal conversations, stories from fishermen and, of course, seriously good food. Because real change ultimately starts around the table. With a quick sardine pasta. A fresh fennel and tuna salad. Or a good tin of sardines on toasted bread.
In this series, they answer:
- How do you know if fish has truly been caught sustainably?
- Why is the origin of fish often so unclear?
- What do eco-labels actually mean?
- And what can we do differently ourselves?
