He has a clear vision when it comes to farming salmon for the future. "We can make a significant sustainable change in my field. My goal as a salmon farmer is to continue for another fifty years before passing it on to the next generations."
Our Norwegian salmon is farmed by Alf and his team on the island of Kvarøy, Norway. Like other farms, the salmon here grow in large sea pens, but Kvarøy does things a little differently. The pens are less crowded, giving the salmon up to 50% more space than in other farms. This not only leads to happier fish but also ensures the highest quality salmon.
And there’s something else unique: the feed. Specially developed for Kvarøy, it’s the most sustainable fish feed available today. So when you choose this salmon, you're not just choosing great taste—you're making an environmentally friendly and responsible choice!

Our salmon contains no artificial colorings. The salmon from Kvarøy eats a natural diet of krill, algae, and astaxanthin. Astaxanthin is an antioxidant that belongs to the carotenoid family (vitamin A)—and it’s what gives the fish its beautiful red-orange color.
It’s the exact same natural compound that turns flamingos pink. So nope, no tricks, no additives. Just healthy fish with a naturally healthy color.
Atlantic salmon and Sockeye salmon are two completely different species, each with its own unique characteristics and flavor.
Atlantic salmon This type of salmon originally comes from European waters but is now almost always farmed. Our Atlantic salmon comes from a special farm in Kvarøy, Norway. It has a beautiful pink/orange color, a soft and slightly fattier texture, and a mild, creamy flavor. Due to its higher fat content, Atlantic salmon contains a bit less protein but offers more flavor.
Sockeye salmon Our Sockeye salmon is wild-caught in Alaska during the annual salmon fishing season in the summer. This salmon has a deep orange/red color, firm flesh, and a drier texture. Its flavor is intense and bold, making it a true favorite among connoisseurs who love pure, wild salmon.
The Atlantic salmon from Norway is easy to recognize by its small x-shaped black spots on its side and that beautiful red-pink flesh. Our Norwegian salmon is carefully farmed and completely free from hormones and preventive antibiotics. So when you cook with it, you’re serving nothing but pure nutrients and a generous portion of flavor. Salmon is an oily fish and is packed with healthy omega-3 fatty acids like EPA and DHA. These fish oils are great for your brain and support a healthy heart and circulatory system. No wonder it’s recommended to eat fish at least once a week, especially oily fish like salmon!
