Tuna with marinated red onion, avocado and coriander

Ingredients

  • 1 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 4 limes, juice of 4, zest of 1
  • ½ avocado, cubes
  • 2 tbsp corn
  • ¼ green chili, seeds out, chopped
  • 1 jar of white tuna in olive oil (à 200 g), drained (130 g)
  • extra vergine olive oil
  • ½ bunch of coriander, only the leaves
  • salt and pepper

How to prepare

Preparation

  • 1 Put the red onion with the juice of 3 limes in a bowl and leave it for at least 20 minutes.
  • 2 Then mix in a bowl the avocado, corn and green chili pepper with the rest of the lime juice, the lemon zest and some olive oil. Season with salt and pepper. Mix some of the pickled red onion through this and devide the salad over two plates. Carefully place a few of the pieces of white tuna on each portion and drizzle with olive oil. Serve with the coriander leaves.
