8 cloves of garlic (preferably fresh*), peeled and chopped into large chunks
a few sprigs of thyme
1/2 tl balsamic vinegar
salt
black pepper
2 tins of sardines in 120 g olive oil, drained
How to prepare
This delicious dish with sardines in olive oil and cherry tomatoes. Easy, fast and healthy!
Preparation
1 Cut the cherry tomato in half, remove the seeds.
2 Heat some olive oil in a large frying pan and put the tomato with the cutting edge in the oil. Also put the garlic and thyme in the oil. Turn down the heat and slowly season the tomato.
3 If the peels of the tomato are wrinkled and the cutting edge is slightly discoloured, remove the pan from the heat and let the tomato cool down.
4 Gently pull the skins of the tomato with your fingers. This is easy when the tomato is completely cooked.
5 Grind the tomato with the garlic and the oil coarsely. Season to taste with the vinegar, salt and black pepper.
