Salmon spread with sourdough bread

  • 2 tins of pink or red salmon fillet, without rind and skin (drained net weight 170 g), cut into pieces
  • 3 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp whipped cream
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp lemon zest, fine
  • 1/2 spring onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • pepper and salt
  • 4 slices of sourdough bread, possibly roasted

How to prepare

This delicious starter or main course with salmon, mayonnaise and sourdough bread. Easy to prepare!



  • 1 Take a mixing bowl and chop the salmon well with a fork.
  • 2 Add the mayonnaise, cream and cayenne pepper and mix until nice and smooth.
  • 3 Now carefully mix the lemon zest and spring onion through the spread. Season to taste with lemon juice, pepper and salt.
  • 4 Serve with the sourdough bread.
