It is burger time! Who doesn’t love a nice burger? This special salmon burger with a tasty lemon mayonnaise is great! It is perfect for a healthy and fresh lunch or dinner.
Preparation
1 Chop the salmon roughly, so you can still taste the texture.
2 Cut the spring onion and capers and add this to the salmon.
3 Add the mustard and add some pepper and salt.
4 Add the egg and the breadcrumb and mix this well.
5 Cut the parsley and basil and add this to the salmon and mix well. Make 2 round burgers with a thickness of 1 to 1,5 fingers.
6 For the lemon mayonnaise: Add the lemon zest and juice to the mayonnaise and mix this well with some pepper.
7 Cut the hamburger bun in half and grill both sides so the bread is toasted.
8 Add a bit of olive oil to both sides of the salmon burger and put it in a pan on medium heat. Let it fry for 3 minutes per side.
9 In the meanwhile: add the lemon mayonnaise on the bottom side of the bun and add the lettuce and avocado.
10 Once the salmon burger is ready, put it on the bun. Add the tomato, cucumber and red onion and add some pepper.
11 Add some lemon mayonnaise on the top side of the bun and put this on the burger. Serve immediately. Enjoy!
