Don’t we all just love fried fish? These fish nuggets are delicious as lunch or appetizer. The home made tartar sauce is definitely worth the effort. Try it yourself!
Preparation
1 Mix the flour, egg, beer, 1 teaspoon of paprika powder and a pinch of salt to a smooth batter.
2 Heat the oil to 180 degrees Celsius in a deep pan, or use a fryer. Make sure the oil is hot enough with a kitchen thermometer or by frying some batter. If the batter floats to the surface, the oil is hot enough.
3 Dip the cod into the batter and drop one at a time into hot oil. Fry the fish until both sides are crispy and golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
4 Sprinkle with paprika powder. Serve your nuggets with lemon parts and home made tartar sauce!
