Cod is a delicious white fish that you can prepare both from the freezer and fresh. In this recipe, you will add a delicious herb crust to the cod, which will become crispy when baked in the oven. This gives the cod a special spicy taste.
Preparation
1 Defrost the cod in the packaging in the refrigerator.
2 Preheat oven to 200ºC.
3 Remove the cod from the packaging. Pat cod dry on both sides. Divide cod in half, salt on both sides and set aside.
4 Finely chop the garlic. Chop parsley finely.
5 Put butter in a pot and melt it at low heat.
Add garlic and parsley. Stir well and squeeze ½ lemon in the butter sauce. Stir again.
6 Mix in breadcrumbs (Panko). Remove the pan from the stove.
7 Place the cod in an ovenproof dish. Spread the butter mixture over the fish. Season to taste with salt.
