How to prepare

A true worldwide favorite dish is the classic French steak tartare with raw meat. Why not swap the raw meat for tasty tuna? Tuna steak tartare is super easy and oh so delicious. This seafood version comes with sustainably caught yellowfin tuna. We’d recommend 75 grams of tuna per person when you serve this dish as a starter.

Preparation

  • 1 Take a sharp knife and cut the tuna into small cubes.
  • 2 Mix the tuna with the chopped shallot, spring onion, and olive oil. Season with salt and pepper.
  • 3 Now add the cornichons, capers, chives, and parsley and mix well. Season with Tabasco and now mix with the egg yolk.
  • 4 Serve for example with some crispy toast and a nice green salad.
