 TUNA AND CAPER BUTTER
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
One 5-ounce tin of Sea Tales tuna, drained
¼ shallot, minced
5 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon capers
Salt and pepper, to taste
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Put all the ingredients in a food processor and season with salt and pepper. Combine to form a smooth spread.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Transfer the tuna and caper butter to a small dish, cover with plastic wrap, and leave to firm up in the fridge for at least 1 hour
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
ANCHOVY AND OLIVE SPREAD
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Half a tin of Sea Tales anchovies, drained
1 cup Taggiasca or Calamata olives, pitted
½ garlic clove, minced
¼ bunch of thyme, leaves only
Juice of ½ lemon
Olive oil
Salt and pepper, to taste
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Put all the ingredients in a food processor together with a splash of olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Combine into a coarse spread, adding some extra olive oil if the texture is too thick.
