BBQ grilled lobster

Recipe (dinner)

BBQ grilled lobster halves with butter sauce! It is easy and quick to make and will surprise everyone that joined your BBQ!

    Cook the lobster for 5 minutes. Normally, you cook a lobster of 500 gr for approximately 9 minutes. However, since they are going to be grilled as well, they should not already be cooked. Let them cool down after cooking.

    Mix the butter, parsley, shallot, garlic and chili flakes in a bowl. Season with the lemon juice and pepper and salt.

    Cut the lobsters in half and cover the meat side with a bit of olive oil. Put them on the grill of BBQ with the meat side down. Keep the claws closed for now.

    Grill the lobsters for 3-4 minutes and turn them around. Add lumps of butter on the lobster, save a little bit for later. Close the lid of the grill or BBQ in order to let the butter melt. Once the butter is melted, sprinkle the brandy over the lobsters and let it evaporate.

    Take the lobsters of the grill or BBQ and put them on a plate. Melt the last bit of butter in a pan and drizzle this over the lobsters once it is melted. Serve the grilled lobster on the BBQ immediately. Enjoy!

  • - 60 g. butter

  • - 1 hand of parsley, finely chopped

  • - 1 shallot, finely chopped

  • - 1 garlic clove, finely chopped

  • - pinch of chili flakes, finely chopped

  • - 1 tbsp. olive oil

  • - juice of 1/2 lemon

  • - 2 tbsp. brandy

  • - pepper and salt
