Place the red onion in the juice of 1 lime and set aside.
Mix the Greek yogurt with the juice and zest of the other lime, parsley, garlic, and some salt and pepper. Set aside (or chill in the fridge).
Remove the sardines from the can and place them on a plate or in a small bowl. Add the harissa oil. Roughly mash with a fork—don’t overdo it, some chunks of fish should remain visible.
Toast your bread briefly in a dry pan or toaster until nicely crispy.
Spread some of the yogurt dip on the bread. Scoop the smashed sardines on top. Finish with some pickled red onion, parsley, and freshly ground pepper. Enjoy!
