Quick Pasta with Smoked Wild Salmon
A pasta with smoked salmon is one of those classics you never get tired of — creamy, smoky, and instantly festive on your plate. This version from the Twisted Chef, made with smoked wild salmon, is a must-try. We use tagliatelle (penne works too!), and in just 15 minutes this winner is ready to serve.
Great with any type of pasta — pick your favorite!
Cook the tagliatelle until al dente according to the package instructions.
Meanwhile, heat a splash of olive oil in a pan and sauté the shallot briefly. Add the capers and cook for another minute. Stir in the tomato paste. Deglaze with the white wine and let it simmer gently for about 2 minutes. Season with pepper.
Add the cooking cream and let it thicken gently for two minutes.
Toss the al dente tagliatelle with the sauce, adding 3 tbsp of pasta water. Shake or stir well.
Remove the pan from the heat and add the salmon slices. Finish with parsley and a bit more black pepper. Serve immediately. Enjoy!
