
Quiche with sardines and artichokes
Sardines are not just tasty, they are also packed with omega-3 fatty acids that are good for both your heart and your brain. This quiche combines delicious sardines with the creamy flavor of artichokes. 25 minutes preperation time + 35 minutes baking time
Preheat the oven to 200°C.
Grease a 20-centimeter tart pan with butter and line it with the puff pastry. Gently press the dough into the pan. Place a sheet of parchment paper on top and fill with pie weights or dried beans. Bake for 10 minutes. Remove the weights and parchment, then bake the crust for another 5 minutes. Take it out of the oven and reduce the temperature to 180°C.
In a bowl, mix the eggs with the cream, scallions, and dill. Season with salt and pepper. Pour the mixture into the tart shell and evenly distribute the artichokes and sardines on top. Bake the quiche in the oven for 30 to 35 minutes, until the top is golden brown.
Toss the lettuce with the chervil and dress with olive oil and a pinch of salt. Serve the quiche with the salad.
